The 2023 Nimitz Viking Football Camp will introduce young players to the game of football and emphasize having fun while playing the game. Activities at the camp will consist of instruction and participation in basic offensive and defensive skills. Special team’s skills, weight lifting techniques, and conditioning will also be taught. The camp will be conducted on the Farda Game Field at Nimitz High School. Each participant will receive a camp T-shirt and individual awards will be presented to campers on the final day.

In consideration of your accepting my son/daughter as a participant in an IISD Athletic Summer Camp, I, intending to be legally bound, hereby for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages I have against all other entrants and against the Irving Independent School District, Irving, Texas, its officers, agents, and representatives for any and all injuries suffered by my son / daughter while participating in the camp or while in transit to and from the camp. In case of emergency I give my permission for Irving Independent School District to secure emergency medical services at once.
